Abstrakt

Rodzice wpływają na orientację zawodową dzieci od najwcześniejszych etapów kształtowania koncepcji własnego „ja”. Wpływ ten ma charakter wielowymiarowy i zależy zarówno od wsparcia emocjonalnego i komunikacji (Degenhardt, 2020), jak i od klasy społecznej, poziomu wykształcenia, stylu wychowania (Häfeli & Schellenberg, 2009), postrzegania ról w rodzinie oraz dochodu gospodarstwa domowego (Boll i in., 2015). Silny wpływ rodziców podkreśla konieczność ich włączania w proces doradztwa zawodowego. Badania prezentowane w tym tekście wypełniają istotną poznawczą lukę, ponieważ wciąż niewiele wiadomo o tym, jak rodzice postrzegają własną rolę, jakie czynniki uznają za priorytetowe i jak różnią się one w zależności od cech socjodemograficznych. Zrozumienie tych aspektów jest kluczowe, aby dostosować usługi doradcze do zróżnicowanych grup rodziców. W badaniach postawiono dwa pytania: jakie czynniki rodzice uważają za najważniejsze dla pomyślnego przejścia do kształcenia zawodowego oraz jak postrzegają oni własny wpływ na wybory zawodowe dzieci. Kwestionariusz ilościowy przeprowadzono wśród 127 rodziców (CASI, computer assisted self-interviewing, styczeń–czerwiec 2023). Analizowano różnice między grupami, koncentrując się na formach doradztwa, znaczeniu doświadczeń praktycznych i praktyk zawodowych, wpływie mediów, poziomie wykształcenia, doświadczeniu zawodowym, dochodach, doradztwie wolnym od stereotypów oraz zaangażowaniu w proces doradczy. Wyniki wskazują, że rodzice cenią przede wszystkim indywidualne spotkania z neutralnymi specjalistami, dodatkowe formaty cyfrowe oraz własne zaangażowanie, natomiast zajęcia grupowe w klasie oceniane są jako mniej istotne. Obok doradztwa wolnego od stereotypów i krytycznej refleksji nad mediami za kluczowy czynnik uznawane są praktyki zawodowe. Rodzice z wykształceniem zawodowym przywiązują większą wagę do doradztwa i doświadczeń praktycznych niż rodzice
z wykształceniem wyższym. Rodzice z miast silniej akcentują znaczenie ofert cyfrowych i wolnych od stereotypów, podczas gdy rodzice ze wsi priorytetowo traktują praktyki zawodowe. Wyniki jakościowe pokazują, że rodzice świadomie zastanawiają się nad swoją rolą, dzielą się informacjami, korzystają z sieci i zasobów oraz dostosowują wsparcie do potrzeb dzieci.
